Ingredients of Tom Yam Goong

  1. You need 3 buah of cabe merah.
  2. It's 3 buah of cabe merah keriting.
  3. Prepare 5 siung of bawang putih.
  4. Prepare 1 ruas jari of jahe.
  5. Prepare 5 buah of jamur champignon (bisa diganti sesuai selera).
  6. Prepare 10 buah of cumi-cumi ukuran sedang.
  7. It's 15 buah of udang ukuran sedang.
  8. It's 2 batang of serai.
  9. It's 2 sdm of minyak goreng.
  10. It's 1 sdm of tom yam paste.
  11. You need 5 lembar of daun jeruk.
  12. You need 15-20 lembar of daun ketumbar (sekitar 5 batang/gunakan sesuai selera).

Tom Yam Goong instructions

  1. Haluskan cabe merah, cabe merah keriting, bawang putih dan jahe.
  2. Tumis bumbu yang dihaluskan dengan minyak (tidak perlu terlalu halus dalam menghaluskan bumbu).
  3. Geprek serai dan masukan kedalam tumisan bumbu.
  4. Masukan tom yam paste, dan aduk hingga rata sekitar 3-5 menit.
  5. Masukan kaldu seafood sekitar 1-1,5 liter (untuk membuat kaldu seafood, dapat dilihat di postingan selanjutnya).
  6. Masukkan daun jeruk (dirobek terlebih dahulu sisinya).
  7. Masukkan daun ketumbar dalam keadaan utuh untuk memberi aroma pada tom yam.
  8. Masukkan jamur yg sebelumnya telah dipotong tipis (sekitar 1 cm).
  9. Masukkan udang (yang telah dibuang bagian kulit dan kepalanya) dan juga masukkan cumi (yang telah dipotong 1 cm).
  10. Tuang kecap ikan dan kecap asin. Aduk rata. Lalu tambahkan gula.
  11. Masukkan cabe rawit merah yang telah dibersihkan sebelumnya dalam keadaan utuh (hanya dibuang tangkainya saja) untuk memberikan sentuhan warna merah yg lebih tajam.
  12. Aduk rata, jika sudah matang, kecilkan api dan biarkan hingga 10 menit (sampai dengan air sedikit surut).
  13. Matikan kompor dan sajikan selagi hangat.
